Press, poke, and plant! With the ingenious plant-by-color Seeding Square, every plant gets the exact amount of space it needs to ensure the best yield from your garden. Inspired by the Square Foot Gardening® method, a popular technique for high-yield gardens, the Seeding Square maximizes productivity while preventing overcrowding, which can lead to disease problems. It also eliminates the waste that results from thinning plants (not to mention the heartbreak of tossing seedlings!) 

Find each crop on the chart; the color coding lets you know which holes to use on the square as well as the proper planting depth. Press the Seeding Square onto the soil surface and use the poking tool (dibble) with depth markings to make planting holes to the proper depth in each color-coded hole in the square. Use the spoon on the tool to grab seeds from packet and easily place them in the holes using the funnel. The Seeding Square is made from durable ABS plastic so it's long-lasting and easy to clean, the poking tool and funnel store securely in the square for safekeeping.
